Matthew M.

A native New Yorker, Matthew made his video debut in SESAME STREET’S BEGINNINGS. He has performed on Broadway as a part of the SCHUBERT HIGH SCHOOL FESTIVAL, KIMBERLY AKIMBO’S SHOW CHOIR NIGHTS, as well as JOSH GROBAN’S FIND YOUR LIGHT GALA. He puppeteered “Mouserik” and “The Nutcracker” in THE MOUSE KING at the Mandelstam School in Miami, FL. He made his 54 BELOW debut in MATEO LIZCANO’S SINCERELY MATEO, where he also coordinated vocal performers. He’s a graduate of the FRANK SINATRA SCHOOL OF THE ARTS in Queens, where he had leads in RENT and CARRIE, in addition to being Vocal Captain. He’s puppeteered for multiple seasons at NEW YORK’S BRONX ZOO with Wojtal Puppets. He’s currently a vocal performance student at BOSTON CONSERVATORY OF MUSIC on a leave of absence. He’s currently preparing to perform in NOEL ’S Cabaret show HEY THIS WAS REALLY FUN at 54 BELOW. I love teaching vocal studies because it's truly one of the most expressive and unique ways of making music. I like to take a step by step approach to learning not only how to sing properly and healthily, but also the foundations of music itself and building an understanding of basic music theory.
