GEORGE began playing guitar at the age of 12. He graduated from Musician's Institute, earning a diploma from the Guitar Institute of Technology G.I.T. at age 20, and subsequently obtained a B.A. in Music Audio Recording from California State University. He gained performance experience at M.I. and later playing in local bands in Chile and California, including H-SUR a RUSH tribute, The Blizz a Randy Rhoads tribute, and Subterra, a local progressive metal band. His main personal favorite styles are rock, hard rock, metal, and progressive metal, and he particularly enjoys teaching his economy picking technique. George also likes to delve into equipment and recording techniques. GEORGE loves music because it is a powerful form of expression and a lifelong journey of learning, and loves teaching music because he enjoys sharing his knowledge and helping students unlock their potential.
