She began playing piano and alto saxophone, vocal training, and singing at the age of 10 and continued her education by attending school for music education. Her musical influences include Micheal Jackson, Monica, and Whitney Houston .Vanessa's favorite thing about music is being able to expressing yourself and her favorite thing about teaching music is helping my students gain more knowledge. One of her favorite teaching experiences was when my first time music student performed for me.
