Julie began playing piano and guitar at the age of 10. Over the years, she developed her skills further by taking classic piano lessons for over 10 years and eventually teaching herself how to play the Acoustic guitar. Later in life, she learned how to play percussion in her high school years. She gained performance experience in the Chandler and McCloud area by playing at such venues as Clara Belle's and multiple little coffee shops. Though Julie can teach many different genres of music, her musical personal favorites are folk, country and blues which had great influence on her style of playing. Julie loves music because it brings out her creativity and emotions and loves teaching music because she wants to spread the love of music.
