Hi, my name is Jonathan Jon and I am a multi-instrumentalist from Mansfield, MA. I specialize in piano, drum, and guitar work. I have been a student of music for 8 years, starting with drums and picking up the rest along the way. Some of my favorite players include Levon Helm, Thelonious Monk, Elvin Jones, and Adrian Belew. I have mostly experience in rock and jazz environments also playing hundreds of shows, but I'm picking up classical and my reading is solid. In my lessons, you can expect to learn about tone, dynamics, technique, reading, and theory. My favorite thing about teaching is being able to inspire joy in others.
