With over 20 years of musical experience, Briar has been playing for as long as he can remember. Starting on snare drum and percussion lessons at 8 years old, at 11 he grew an interest for jazz music and picked up bass as well as guitar. After leading his rhythm to second place in Iowa’s State HS Jazz Competition his senior year, Briar went on to college at The Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences where he learned studio, live, broadcast, and video game audio production from the best in the industry. Since graduating CRAS Briar has been on the road with bands playing anything from punk and metal to country and western as a hired talent on whichever instrument is needed, playing in front of thousands. Now he’s ready to share all of those years of experience and help you achieve your musical goals!
