Hi, my name is Samuel, and I am mainly a Trombonist that loves to play guitar and bass. I have been a student of music for 8+ years. Some of my influences include guitarists such as Jimmy Hendrix, Carlos Santana, bassists like Jaco Pistorius, Thundercat, and trombonists including James Morrison and Rita Payes. The way I like to teach is by allowing my students to observe and attempt, then go into explanation. I believe in inspiring my students with positive reinforcement and in setting that spark that makes greatness. I love teaching because I'm able to see growth. I know that for young students it's truly important how music is introduced to them. It truly is satisfying to see people doing what they love at their desired level. With trombone, Jazz is the style that I focus the most, but I'm very experienced in fields such as concert band, wind ensembles, salsa, and afrobeat. I'm excited to start our lessons as I hope you are too. It's going to be a truly fulfilling experience from both sides.
