Francois has always loved music from an early age. He began playing the piano at the at the age of 8, and continued his education by attending the Berklee College of Music. His musical influences include Jazz, Classical Music, R&B, and Pop. Francois's favorite thing about music is the way that you can express yourself through your instrument, and his favorite thing about teaching music is inspiring the younger generation. One of his favorite teaching experiences was when a student was finally able to play Fur Elise! What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
In my piano lessons, students receive personalized instruction based on their skill level and musical goals. Beginners will learn proper hand positioning, scales, and simple pieces, while advanced students dive into sight-reading, music theory, improvisation, and complex repertoire. I blend classical and contemporary styles to build both technical skills and musical expression, with a focus on performance techniques and stage presence. Above all, my lessons are designed to boost confidence and foster a love for music.
Formal Education:
I studied at Berklee College of Music, where I received formal training in music theory, performance, and composition. My time there greatly enhanced both my technical skills and artistic understanding.
Private Education:
In addition to my studies at Berklee, I received private instruction from accomplished musicians, focusing on areas such as improvisation, technique, and stylistic versatility.
Performing Experience:
I have performed at multiple concerts and live events in Taiwan, gaining valuable experience in both solo and ensemble settings. These performances have helped shape my stage presence and ability to connect with diverse audiences.
