My name is John, and I'm a musician/performer/producer in Orlando, FL. Currently, I have a part-time job at the Melrose Center in the downtown public library, where we have a variety of creative resources including an audio studio, sound booths, photo studio, video studio, and more. In my role at the Melrose Center, I've helped a lot of people take their first steps in the world of audio production and have even picked up a couple of private students for guitar lessons. In college, I self-advertised myself at UCF as a guitar/bass guitar teacher, and I was able to teach several students for a couple of years. Although it was never my primary source of income, I mostly relied on gigging and working at a café. I always had a huge passion for teaching and have been wanting to get back into it. My past experience teaching private lessons in college, along with my current job at the Melrose Center, has rejuvenated my interest in teaching music lessons. Since college, I've also played drums in a few bands, and I've produced a wide variety of music for myself and my friends.
