Acoustic and Electric Guitarist, Robert “AX”, is possibly the best kept musical secret in the Washington Metropolitan area and is celebrating “40 Years of Loving ALL through music”. As the son of the Chief Master Sergeant responsible for Maintaining Air Force One, his passion for excellence, specifically in music, was forged early. Robert has been a Michael Jackson Cover Singer and Impersonator since the age of 8, and while in High School in the Philippines was considered the most popular impersonator of the time. “AX” transitioned to Berklee College of Music, becoming a classically educated guitarist, singer-songwriter and producer, often compared to the greats of pop, rock, and R&B.
He was a founding member of award winning contemporary gospel group Gideon Band and has played with or opened for such music legends as Mavis Staples, Sister Sledge, Lalah Hathaway, Jody Watley and Pieces of a Dream, among others.

Very Friendly And Explains Great

Great teacher very knowledgeable

Vocal lessons with Robert
I came to Robert with no knowledge of how to sing well and project my voice in different ways. With the help of Robert I have the confidence to sing with no fear of how I sound. He was a tremendous help and can't thank him enough for all the hard work he has put into me learning to sing. He is great and kind man and will work with you to help make your dreams come true. I recommend anyone who wants to take up singing lessons to take them with Robert. A Music Teacher!
My daughter takes guitar instruction from him and its the only class out of ballet, flute, and piano that she has shown any interest un continuing. It has as much to do with him as a teacher as the instrument. I really think its because he can give you the cultre and history behind the instrument, provide you with songs and stories to support the lesson and pin point the problems you are having and ways to fix it outside of "practice".
