I have been playing guitar since I was 9. I currently play and sing in 4 cover bands as well as solo and duo acoustic acts. Rock is my main genre of music. I can help you in the areas of electric, acoustic, songwriting, singing, and live and studio performance. My main philosophy is that playing music should be fun. The way to make lessons fun is to learn what you want to play, and have an experienced eye and ear on things so you develop in the right way avoiding common pitfalls. I have played and sang in original and cover bands since I was in Jr High. I have toured the US and UK. If you are a beginner, you have to start somewhere, and having a teacher is going to help you develop faster. If you are ready to play in a band, I can help you with gear selection and setup, as well as all the aspects of being part of a band. I teach all styles and all ages. I can help any student that is ready to become a rock-star!!!

The best instructor ever!!!
I never do reviews but I am so impressed that I want to post the letter I recently emailed Dave… Hi Dave, I wanted to give you an update on lexi from our end. Monday when I picked her up she was glowing and so full of energy and confidence. She was a different child than the one i dropped off. The child that i dropped off was insecure and afraid of messing up and unsure she could hit the notes and do the solo at her 7th grade choir concert. The child I picked up after her hour lesson was soooo different. She couldn't stop smiling as she was skipping to the car. She was explaining everything she learned, You had showed her that the fearful notes were actually 2 notes Under what she was capable of ...she said that she was no longer going to fear those notes. She went on and on for an hour about all the things you taught her in just that ONE hour! I know that you made a memory that will help her and stay with her for the rest of her life. After her 2nd lesson she was equally excited and said that you push her because you KNOW that she can do it and that gives her so much confidence. She said that she even learned great ways to cope with the preconcert stress that is most definitely going to be the hardest part. She was concerned that she couldn't learn everything by friday.....but that's just lexi, she has always been hard on herself and a major over achiever.... I will video her performance on friday and it will be an amazing before and after from the one that i posted last weekend on facebook! I can't ever Thank you enough for caring so much. I can't wait to post to the world what an amazing person and teacher you are. Any student that gets you as a teacher is BLESSED! Now she wants to start guitar lessons after Christmas!
