Hello, my name is TysonT Music has been my life ever since I started playing the saxohpone in fourth grade. I got my first guitar when I was 13. Shortly after that, I started playing drums and electric bass. I've performed live from the age of 15. After graduating high school, I joined the United States Coast Guard. While on active duty, I was involved with the Coast Guard Marching Band. After my service, I joined a touring rock band as the bass player. After about 5 years of touring and hundreds of performances, I decided that I wanted to expand my musical knowledge by getting a degree in music. I moved to Seattle and enrolled at Shoreline Community College. There, I honed my skills as a bass player while learning piano, as well. I have been on over 200 recordings, from high-end studios to bedroom studios. I recently turned 35 and still have just as much drive to make music my life as I ever have. I have been teaching private lessons for guitar, piano, bass, and drums for over 10 years and I work very well with children as well as adults. I believe that music is in all of us, sometimes we just need the right tools or words to help us understand how to get our inner music out of our souls and into our world.

I started playing drums at church at the age of 13.

I joined a Touring rock band at the age of 20, playing over 300 shows in 5 years.
I moved to Seattle at the age of 25, have been playing with many different artists at venues in the area as well as recording as a studio session musician with local acts.
Experience Teaching:
I started giving lessons to my cousin when I was 20. I've had many private students over the past decade, and I was a substitute instructor at the Lake City School of Rock.
