James received his first playing drumset at the young age of 5. This led into many ventures and a major part of my life. Years later I begin to play in church and soon joined the band in 5th grade at Nicholls Elementary School. During my 8th grade year,I was promised the drumset position with the Jazz Band at Coffee High School and I also played in the Coffee High Marching Band. I received a music scholarship to Morris Brown College where I was blessed and fortunate to compose and perform in the movie "Drumline." Since my graduation in 2002,I have received endorsements from Vic Firth,Dynasty Percussion,and Stick Tape. I have been teaching private lessons since 2005 and recently opened my own Drum School in Jonesboro, Ga.
James Ri. has over 20 years of music experience in the Jonesboro area.
James Ri. is proficient in and teaches Drum Lessons .Formal Education:
I have a Bachelors of Science Degree in General Studies with a concentration in Music Education.
Performing Experience:
I played in a Jazz and Marching band from 1994-2002.
Experience Teaching:
I was a student Director at Morris Brown College in 2002. I am currently the Instructor at South Gwinnett High School, C.R.E.A.M.
