I was born in Havana (Cuba) in May 1982; I’m bicultural my mother is Cuban and my father is Italian. I started my music studies at age 8 at the Havana Music Conservatory Manuel Saumell on my principal instrument: piano.
After transferring to Rome (Italy) with my family in 1992 I continued music studies privately. Surprisingly in 2004 I was awarded a scholarship to attend the famous Berklee College of Music in Boston (MA), one step toward my dream coming true was made. My experience in the US has been fantastic from the beginning. In Berklee, which I graduated from in 2009 with a GPA of 3.3, in Professional Music. I met and share so much music with many excellent musicians increasing my skills and my musical ability to merge accordingly with any genre. I shared the stage with many great and well-known musicians in the Boston area. Finally I moved to NYC on Jan 2010. Here I attended the Master in Jazz Program at Queens College for a year. And I've continued the fantastic experience of being a professional musician here in New York City, where I keep meeting continuously great musicians, from private students and regular students (I’ve been a Teaching Artist for Bronx Arts Ensemble in NYC Public Schools for more than 2 years now) to fellows performers; and growing the love for my passion, the Art Of Music.
