About Me
Reynaliz is a professional musician, percussionist, composer, and educator. She was born in Monterrey, Mexico in 1984, where she studied and began pursuing music. Reynaliz has performed and collaborated with renowned ensembles such as: The National Arts Center Orchestra of Canada, The Ottawa Symphony Orchestra, The Orchestre de la Francophonie Canadienne, and Mexicana Dance Group: Danza Contemporanea en Concierto. She has engaged in solo recitals and performances which include a repertoire of her own works in countries such as U.S.A, Mexico, Cuba, Canada, Spain, Italy, and Germany. Reynaliz holds a bachelor of Music from the University of Ottawa, and recently graduated from The Boston Conservatory with a Master of Music in percussion performance. She has also received international awards and winning competitions such as The National Youth Award (Mexico, 2005 and 2009), The Festival Percuba's International Percussion Competition in La Havana, Cuba (2002), and The National Arts Center of Canada's Bursary Competition (2005). Reynaliz is currently the Drums teacher at Hamilton - Garret's Music and Arts Academy in Boston, and the drummer with Boston based rock band "Muy Cansado". She is also engaged with personal music projects like "Ideas, Not Theories" a theatrical performance show of her own works.

Reynaliz H has over 10 years years of music experience in the Jamaica Plain (Boston) area.
