Mike Malatino is an American born drummer hailing from Saratoga Springs, New York. His playing styles include Progressive Rock, Heavy Metal, Christian Rock, Pop and Old Time Rock & Roll. Mike has been fortunate enough to learn from and study under some of the greatest educators such as Dom Famularo, Larry S. Levine, Joe Baker, Justan Jenkins, Dayshawn Mojica, Rich Laplante and Richard Albagli. Mike currently performs every weekend at Northway Church as part of the worship band. He also gives private drum and audio engineering lessons from his personal studio.
Mike M has over 10+ years of music experience in the Saratoga Springs area.
Mike M is proficient in and teaches Drum Lessons .Formal Education:
2008 • Certified Audio Engineer : Audio Recording Technology Institute. Orlando, Florida. 2007 • B.A. Electronic Music and Media : University at Albany. Albany, New York. 2005 • A.S. Music and Performance : Adirondack Community College. Queensbury, New York.
Private Education:
Has studied close to 22 years with Yamaha endorsed artist Larry S. Levine. Recently studied with Global Drum Ambassador, Dom Famularo and National Drum Corp Judge, Joe Baker.
Performing Experience:
Has performed with Elvis impersonator at Six Flags amusement parks, various cover bands in the local area and currently at Northway Church in Upstate New York.
Experience Teaching:
Has taught and coached many young drummers for the past ten years ranging from grade school to college.
