Jordan Cleaver started studying cello nearly 14 years ago under the private instruction of the late Mimi McShane. She attended Greiner Academy for the Arts and later graduated from Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in 2008. Jordan moved on to study cello at Kennesaw State University in Georgia for two years under the tutelage of Atlanta Ballet's principle cellist, Charae Kruegar. While at Kennesaw, Jordan served as both principle and co-principle cellist. Ms. Cleaver has performed with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, members from the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and many other renowned musicians. Jordan recently opened at the Dallas House of Blues for funk legend, George Clinton and the Parliament Funkadelic. Jordan has performed for Prince Edward of England, former Prime Minister Tony Blair and for private parties hosted by the Perot's. Jordan now lives in Dallas and performs regularly around the metroplex. Ms. Cleaver plans to further her career by continuing to play and embrace every musical opportunity that comes her way.

Performing Experience:
I perform regularly around the DFW area. My performances range from wedding and cocktail parties to recording and playing at local venues. I have performed multiple times at the Morton H. Myerson Symphony Center and with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. I have performed at the Dallas House of Blues as the opening act for George Clinton and the Parliament Funkadelic and I have performed with Miles Davis' former bassist "Foley". I was selected to play at the Cobb Energy Center to premier a new work of music as well as perform at the Georgia Music Educator Association conference in Savannah Georgia.
Experience Teaching:
I have had 5 private cello students over the last three years. I also teach general music education at an Elementary school Tuesday- Friday.
