This is Rob, I am passionate about helping drummers to be able to reach their goals. Weather you want to get ready for professional playing or just want to learn a few things to spice up your music, I'm your guy. I usually teach a little through method and books just for a foundation, but I focus on teaching through the music that inspires the student.
Rob Ly. has over 10 years of music experience in the Irving area.
Rob Ly. is proficient in and teaches Drum Lessons .Formal Education:
I have not yet gone through formal music education. I have learned through working in the Virginia and Dallas music scene
Private Education:
I have spent 6 months working with a private teacher focusing on independence, jazz styles and foot technique.
Performing Experience:
I have played with over a dozen bands in the Dallas and Virginia music scene. I have an understanding and experience in almost every style of music, from dance/ funk to progressive metal to smooth jazz.
Experience Teaching:
I have taught several students as a private tutor in Virginia. They came away with significant progress and I was able to teach everything from technique to complex beats to both beginners and advanced student.
