Andrew is a resident of St Paul, MN. and mainly teaches at his own formal studio. He has many years of experience teaching, writing, recording and performing songs with several signed and independent artists and bands including producing an award winning album for Blind Pig Recording artist, Sena Ehrhardt, as recently as 2012. He's the former Frontman of the 90’s alternative/rock band, Fat Tuesday, who were major label recording artists and had a few minor hit songs on Red Decibel/Columbia. He is the former writer for Famous Music Publishing, now part of Sony ATV. He is regularly sought after as a live musician, producer, engineer, composer & collaborator. His songs appear on many albums, movies, television and in unique places like musical greeting cards at Target stores. He also holds down a ten year residency as the Saint Paul Saints organist, DJ and musical director . Andrew has had the good fortune of getting to work with with many renowned producers & engineers including David Kahne (Paul McCartney,Sublime), Terry Manning (Big Star, Björk, Booker T) , Ross Hogarth (R.E.M, Keb Mo, Van Halen). He works in a wide range of musical styles on many albums and singles including blues, rock, alternative, jazz, metal, meditation, drum & bass, country and dub. As an artist, he is also on several compilation albums which include artists like Tom Waits, Adam Sandler & Cocteau Twins and more. He has done extensive national touring, and has created soundtracks for short films and commercials in addition to songs for feature films. Andrew is passionate about the creative process. Consistently, one of his goals as a teacher includes helping students and artists to develop and maintain their own unique sonic signature.
