My education is "home-grown" and professional. Started at 5 years old with private classical teachers, accepted into High School of Music and Art at age 14. Spent two years at Juilliard School of Music. Self-taught in blues, arranged and played keyboard in r&b/rock/blues group for two years all over upstate New York. One year of jazz lessons at Sounds of Joy school in Manhattan, New York, followed by two years of private jazz lessons in New York. I then went into teaching and performing and did so for twenty years in New York City. Don't you love it? Well, I do, and hope to meet you.
Lessons are very personalized for children and adults. All material is individually chosen accordingly. All students, with my methods, never feel rushed; you move at your own natural pace, depending on ability and schedule/practice time available.
Lessons are fun and easy-going, without sacrifing necessary fundamentals. This is a very cool decision because you will be happy you can play for the rest of your life....really.

George He- has over 25 years of music experience in the Scottsdale area.
George He- is proficient in and teaches Keyboard and Piano Lessons .Formal Education:
Formal education includes two years at Julliard School of Music, played recital there. Was accepted into the High School of Music and Art in NYC.
Professional Jazz Lessons at SOJ Studios in NYC for one year.
Private Education:
10 years of private lessons weekly with professional concert pianists. Two years of weekly private lessons in jazz. Self-taught and taught by many other musicians in blues. I was the arranger and keyboardist for a rock, r&b, blues band for two years in upstate New York, opening act for such as Grateful Dead, Chuck Berry, Paul Butterfield. I have sat in with all of those as well as with Lionel Hampton Orchestra.
Performing Experience:
As previously mentioned, two years leading and performing with rock band covering Otis Redding, Rolling Stones, and many other groups of that era.
For the last 20 years, I have been playing solo piano as background music at private parties, weddings, etc.
I have performed volunteer solo concerts for numerous senior centers.
Experience Teaching:
I have been teaching all ages and levels for about 25 years, primarily in the legendary Michiko studios in Times Square in NYC, before relocating to Arizona in 2008. All lessons are one on one, and personalized to each individual student for maximum results.
