My freinds have decsribed me as easy going,down to earth and a tell it like it is type of guy.Some of the influences that made me want to play guitar are Led Zeppelin ,Black Sabbth, Heart, Aerosmith,Beatles, Stones The doors,Santanna, Pink Floyd Jeff Beck Stevie Ray Vaughn,Steve Via, (I could be here all day) .My teaching Style begins With what the students goals are. I break the lessons up into four categories 1:The basic's like timing, the proper way to hold a guitar,tuning, reading and exercises.2: Teach a song the student wants to learn which depends on the level of playing ability.3: The workings of the instrument part and how they work 4:(if and when your ready) Business and life expeiriences booking, dealing with the people that are paying you to dealing with the fans (and not so fans) and band members.

I started my music career at age 3 taking piano lessons untill age 6 when I hit a math standstill (fractions) . At age 10 I began guitar lessons and continued doing so on and off untill age 17, I also took about 3 years of vocal lessons. OUt of High School I learned how repair and build guitars.I kept on that track playing in over thrity bands and various music store untill 2002 when I went to Spec's Howard School of Media Arts.I graduated in Video but also interned at WRIF 101.1 FM doing Promotions and Commerical Productions .Also have roadied and been a guitar tech at places Like DTE Energy Music Theater. And then I had a bouncing baby boy now I 'm back.
