I've been playing since age five, and started performing shortly after that. I thrive on improvisation, fueled with the real world applications of scales and chords. Site reading, chord, scale syllabus, and physical techniques are some of the things I concentrate on along with full songs.
Mandel La. has over 26 years of music experience in the Germantown area.
Mandel La. is proficient in and teaches Guitar Lessons .Formal Education:
Most of what I've learned comes from hands on techniques from studio, stage, classroom and various books to help me understand not only the basics and beyond. Applications of scales and chords, ear training, reading and writing on the staff, weather transcribing other works from otherinstruments, from different keys or original pieces.
Private Education:
My private education comes from other muscians I've performed along with or along the way.
Performing Experience:
I've performed at the Ratner Museum in April 2013. Most other performances have been at bookstores Boarders Books in Germantown, The House of Khamit in Washington DC, Coffee Houses Caribou Coffee in Bethesda, parties, weddings, and street gigs.
Experience Teaching:
My experience teaching over the last 20 years has been from word of mouth under the name of bsharpcnatural first starting with band members. Other experience is from Bravo Music, Arena Sound, and Rock N Fun. I still have some students from when I used their database either seasonal or regular.
