Growing up in the suburbs in Philadelphia, I have been heavily influenced by the sounds of rock, jazz, funk, and blues. I began my musical journey by learning classical upright bass (which I continue to play today) at the age of 9, picking up electric at age 12. I began playing professionally with a jazz combo at age 15, and had released 3 records independently and toured professionally by age 18. Since then I have opened for major artists such as B.O.B., Majer Lazer, B-52s, members of the Bluenotes, and Gerald Veasley. I have engineered and produced records for major label (Universal Republic Records) artists and independent artists alike. I currently work with working bands and artists and am a studio musician for Grammy winning producer/engineer David Ivory, and specialize in rock, soul, jazz, and funk music.
