Luke Sa has over 34 years years of music experience in the Oak Hills area.
Luke Sa is proficient in and teaches Guitar Lessons, Drum Lessons .Formal Education:
I Was Main Snare drum player in Corona High School Marching band, Played General Percussion: Snare, Bass Drum, Cymbals, Glockenspiel, an Tubular Bells at Corona High School Wind Ensemble, and was main Drum Set player at Corona High School Stage Band.
Private Education:
Took Six years private Instruction from Jim Hall-Master Student of World-Famous Casey Scheuerell. Also Studied Under Carmine Appice in 1982.
Performing Experience:
I have been performing live since 1979. Have played Clubs, Casinos, Bars, Concert Halls, Educational Facilities, and Festivals. I am also do paid studio work.
Experience Teaching:
I have been giving lessons since the early 1980s. I am a firm believer in rudiments as the core so you will receive detailed development in snare work and snare soloing balanced with drum set technique and how the two in combination will make you a great player. For beginners we start with site reading the rudiments and learning timing fundamentals, advancing through intermediate snare and drum kit techniques and soloing.
