Hi my name Amearist. I'm a drum educator from California. I'm currently educating other students around Reno, finding myself becoming more and more enlightened on many techniques of approaching many different levels. A method that I find really beneficial is the method I like to call simply "write it down". That enables a student a to forcefully take control of there practice and focus on not what they hear or have to remember but on what they see.
Amearist P has over 15 years years of music experience in the Reno area.
Amearist P is proficient in and teaches Drum Lessons .Formal Education:
High school graduate. Took formal jazz band classes and musicianship classes.
Private Education:
After high school I was recommended and recruited in to a conservatory in San Francisco California where I studied technique and performance skills. While I was there I was able to meet and to get acquainted with tons of aspiring musicians such as myself. I learned many methods and practiced many styles. I mainly wanted to perfect craft.
Performing Experience:
I've accompanied many demos, cds, festivals, concerts, church bands, rock bands, jazz bands, reggae bands, studio sessions, and clinics. One thing that I can say I have learned from my experience so far it's that the more you search the more you find. I feel like that will be the number one tool that we all need to succeed in music.
Experience Teaching:
At the current time I'm teaching music at aschool called Vida Musiq where it's hispanic based.
