Jeannie is a full time musician who teaches guitar, piano, voice and bass guitar… and does a solo act performing various types of shows on guitarand vocals. Some of which include, local cruise ships, restaurants,nightclubs, private parties and retirement homes. Each show needing its own individual type of repertoire. She makes her living primarily from teaching, and thoroughly enjoys it…. And has had this pleasure since 1978. She started her musical career doing solo work promoting her original progressive folk-rock material and teaching full time at “Parma Community Arts Center.” After this, she was in a number of local and road bands over a period of 12 years, which played mostly copy material ranging from Top 40, rock, classic rock, Motown, standards, country and polkas. All of which have contributed to her current music style. Her role in these bands was: lead/rhythm guitar, lead/backing vocals and keys, depending on the song. For the year 2000, she was sponsored by Boston Beer Co. (Samuel Adams) doing her solo act, consisting of guitar and vocals. This is truly a “live” performance, without any FAKE(reproduced) music. She performed all over the Cleveland area. Some of the highlights are: Fat Fish Blue, Columbia Station-4 th of July Homecoming Festival, Twilight at the Zoo, National Ribfest ClassicEastlake, various clubs in the flats (Remember the flats?), Put-in-Bay,Kelly’s Island, Marblehead and “Rick’s” in Key West Florida.During this time, she continued teaching music at local music stores like:“Parma Music Center”, “Makin’ Music”, “Royalton Music”, “BrecksvilleMusic”, “Makin’ Music” and “Music Land”.

Rockstar teacher and musician!
I enjoyed every session with Jeannie. She was very professional and personable as well. Taylor and Robinson custom matched me with her since i had a special request and we hit it off right away. She encouraged and complimented my singing voice which helped me to be more comfortable with her. She also pointed out some areas that I needed to work on, such as: posture, breathing and self-confidence. She helped me build a strong foundation of proper technique and self-confidence that paid off during my Worship Team Try-outs in 2016. For the past year I've been a BGV on the worship team at my church and I absolutely love it!! Not only do I have God to thank for that but Jeannie and Taylor Robinson as well. They helped me accomplish one of my dreams and I am so thankful!! Unfortunately I was not able to continue with Jeannie or Taylor Robinson after my tryout due to financial difficulties, I learned a lot from out sessions together. Chose Jeannie if you are serious about becoming well trained vocalist, not only does she have a strong foundational teaching ability but she is an experienced musician with a powerful set of pipes!! Great Piano Teacher
I started learning piano as a child and never became too good at it. When I met Jeannie, she helped me build a solid foundation on piano playing. We went over music theory and playing techniques that I was never systematically taught before. She always listens to my requests, and she has also answered a lot of my questions about piano playing and music. Amazing teacher
My husband and I really wanted to start music lessons. He wanted piano and I wanted voice and Jeannie was the perfect match for us!! I've taken voice lessons before but never had such an amazing teacher yet!!! She teaches you the RIGHT way. How to use your body as an instrument!! Jeanie Is Simply One of THE BEST
I have had lessons with Jeanie for a little over half a year now and I couldn't have asked for a better instructor. It can be nerve racking meeting someone for the first time but from the first phone call even before meeting Jeanie was so kind and understanding. She really listens to what your goal is and pulls out all her knowledge to get you there. And boy, is she knowledgeable. Her talent in music I say music cause Jeanie KNOWS music. From voice, to guitar, to bass, to piano, and others I can't remember is unreal, and this only adds her ability to help you learn. If one way of explaining something doesn't work for you, I promise you, Jeanie will find a way to explain it to you so you can get it right. If you are looking for someone who has professional, extremely knowledgeable, and also invest in you cause they care for you....Jeanie is who you want. HANDS DOWN. Expelling Negative Energy
My vocal instructor Jeanie S has been great thus far. She has assisted me in understanding better the voice as an instrument and also has helped me get past my fear of public speaking and especially singing. We had a technical difficulty with COVID occuring and we switched over to virtual meetings and after we experienced a login issue with my account which rendered the time wasted, Taylor Robinson despite their team being affected severely by COVID provided me with a free lesson in addition to covering the costs of the wasted hour. The website is a bit shaky at times but Jeanie has been resilient and has honestly given me a great experience. I would definitely recommend this if you like me have had no formal experience at all but love singing and want to learn because let me tell ya you're singing wrong if you aren't properly utilizing diaphragmatic breathing. If you have had public fears I reccomend this because you will learn that a lot of it is knowledge and knowing what and when do to things such is all of life. Great place to start learning! Virtual Guitar Lessons-Excellent
I have been receiving guitar lessons from Jeannie for a few months now and I am so happy with her expertise and patience with me. I am taking guitar lessons for fun since I've always wanted to learn how to play. I was skeptical at first because of it being virtual but it has not hindered her teaching or my learning one bit. She gives great tips and advice that are so helpful for a newbie like me. I also love that she catches things that I'm doing wrong AND right. Jeanne is a fantastic instructor. She's guided me through every step of the singing process with care and patience.
