Hi! My name is Lyndon Allen. I love all music. I've been playing drums since I was 5. And also piano since the age of 7. Drums are my first love and I'm devoted to constantly playing and learning more and more every day! I enjoy playing every genre I can get my hands on, which includes Country, Blues, Rock (every sub-genre of rock as well), Gospel and Hip-Hop/R&B.
Lyndon A has over 18 years of music experience in the Austin area.
Lyndon A is proficient in and teaches Drum Lessons, Keyboard and Piano Lessons, Song Writing Lessons .Formal Education:
Texas A&M - Corpus Christi (General Music and Performance Studies in Percussion)
High School Orchestra and Band
Private Education:
Taught by Mr. Linus Anderson at the age of 7. He was also my church drummer.
Performing Experience:
I've played for 2 churches locally in Houston, my place of birth and growing up. Also have a band that was well known around the Houston rock circuit during high school and the first two years of college. Moved to Corpus Christi for college and began playing at Lord of the Harvest Church there. Also wrote for and played in a band locally that was started at Texas A&M-CC and a side project band with my best friend Jake Lloyd, that turned into my current band and music project located in Austin, Texas. Just moved to Austin about a year ago, and will be playing shows locally starting at the end of this month for the first time here. I've done extensive recording and studio work in all three cities as well. Currently doing studio work with Big Money Gators, my current band, located in Austin,TX.
Experience Teaching:
Have taught ages 6-24 for the last 10 years off and on, between college and work. Taught Piano, Drums and Bass Guitar.
