About Me
Hello, my name is Paul. I now have 45+ years of playing and teaching experience, resulting in a never-ending passion for music, the musicians, and the students I work with. As a Touring and Studio Musician based in Los Angeles, I performed as a contractor on TV Shows, Studio Recording Sessions, Club Dates and Record Productions. My focus today is to continue to learn and play with others who share my excitement in creating music. Also, I want to extend my experience to those who are motivated to become better drummers, whether for fun or as a professional musician. In my courses, we study all styles of music, and we have "FUN" while learning. Beginning to Advanced students accepted.

Paul L. has over 50 years of music experience in the Seabrook area.

Paul L. is proficient in and teaches Drum Lessons, Record Engineer Produce .

What to expect in my Drum Lessons

Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced

The most thorough and complete methods are taught by the country's major colleges and professional and private teachers. I take pride in customizing and tailoring the lessons to each student and what they feel are their wants, needs, and weaknesses. I also bring forth areas of interest that they eventually realize cross over into many genres that were not evident in the early days of their study. Here are just a few of the questions I get from new students. • How and what should I practice to achieve the desired results? • How did that drummer play that lick on that song? • Why did my favorite drummer choose that pattern to play? • How do the professionals approach their practice sessions? • How can I be more creative in my playing? • How much does developing my technique help me be more creative? • What can I do to stay relaxed and confident when I play? • How can I increase my ability to play at fast tempos? • Do I have to be able to read music to play professionally? • How much should I practice? How often? What should I practice to become well-rounded in my ability to play with others? • Should I choose to play electronic drums or acoustic drums? • How do I choose the right instruments for my playing style? • I want to play my drums with a band. How can I do that? • Who can I enlist to teach me about electronic drums and midi, and how can they aid me in my playing? • What can I do to understand how to develop my playing so that I can play all styles of music? • I am frustrated with my playing or the speed at which I seem to learn. Those are just a few...
