Born and raised in Birmingham, AL. Started drums when he was 8 years old by his father's instruction. Worked as a Drum Buyer and Head of Drum Dept. for both M.M.I. Music Co. and The Bailey Brothers Music Co. Both stationed in Birmingham, AL.
Worked for the following Companies: Sabian Cymbals, Tama Drums, Sonor Drums, Hohner inc., Among many others. Drummer / Percussionist for 30 years
Started teaching drums at age 28 with 13 students (most of them age 15 and younger) his current student age ranges from 6 years old to 71. Working Local and regional session player for 13 years with several different groups and studios; The Linear high, The Demigs, The Weilington Lights, The Victory Family Church Praise and Worship band, The Shapes, Audomobil, Among many others.
"One of the biggest things with me is making sure a teacher can read what will motiate a student. When my father instructed me, he was a very strict about how things needed to be done. At 8 years old, it was never fun for me. I incorporate many of the methods my father used but I make it a lot more fun for the student."

Instructed by father at age 8. I worked in the percussion section in the school band from middle school through high school at Tallulah High in Tallulah, LA.
I majored in Music Education @ LA Tech (Ruston, LA.)
Private Education:
Went through a brief instruction with Jo Jo Mayer, Steve Smith, Tommy Cleftos, while working for Sonor Drum Company.
Performing Experience:
Apart from working as a regional session player with the bands mentioned in the bio, I've worked as a drum tech / Artist relations to a number of different drummers though the Buddy Rich Drum Co / Memorial concerts and other clinics that were arranged by me through the vendors or retail stores I bought for.
These are the following; Tommy Igoe, Jo Jo Mayer, Chad Smith, John Blackwell, Zoro, Chester Thompson, David Garabaldi, Alex Acuna, Terry Bozzio, and Chad Wackerman.
NOTE: The linear high is signed to a label based out of Yokohama, Japan and will be scheduling a two and a half week tour.
