I started taking piano lessons at the local music store at age 5. After a year, I stopped taking lessons, but resumed at the same location (but with a different teacher) nearly 10 years later. I went on for a few more years until I decided to switch to guitar lessons. That lasted for about 6 months. Many years later when I bought myself a drum kit, I had a couple sessions with a drum instructor to train out any bad habits I was developing during my self-training.

A large part of what I know in music is either self-taught or learned through experience in band settings. For years, I spent my free time researching music theory and techniques, putting them into practice through my songwriting and application.

I spent many years performing solo and with bands as a singer, pianist, keyboardist, guitarist, and drummer. Currently I am working on my own solo album where I intend to perform most if not all of the instruments. I have played a wide variety of genres, including (but not limited to): Folk, Country, Classical, Blues, Soft Rock, Hard Rock, Heavy Metal, Glam Rock/Metal, Symphonic Rock/Metal, Progressive Rock/Metal, and Power Metal.

I have been teaching since July 2013. I started with Piano and Drum lessons, but as of January 2015 I started to incorporate Beginner Guitar lessons. At the peak of my business, I have maintained an average of 20 clients per week for several months.
