A self taught musician originally from Monterey, California, Bernadette has been writing songs since the age of 12, influenced by artists such as Cat Steven's and Joni Mitchell. She has won multiple songwriting contests with West Coast Songwriters, and was a west coast finalist on the international song competition New Song Contest. She has worked with licensing companies such as Music Dealers for song placements, and has had music featured on The CW channel SAF3, and indie film Junction. Currently she is working in a duo band with multi/instrumentalist Erik Lobo and have high hopes in building a career for themselves here in Chicago.
