Review About Me
I grew up in a performing arts family setting. I was involved with dance the first 10 years of my life I also was active in drama productions and theater in college. My dad was an actor/musician working in L.A.,Cal. for a period of time. and around the night club industry by association with my family. I have been earning my income with music for the past 18 years. Eight of those was oriented more around performance. The last 10 years have been involved with my work as a Certified Music Practitioner (Therapeutic Musician) for the last 10 years. I have worked with my flute music in weddings, hospitals, Special Needs school settings and Private treatment centers for at risk youth. I am a Certified Remo Health Rhythms Drum Facilitator and have facilitated hand drumming for self expression and stress reduction also for around 10 years.

Private Education:
Certified Music Practitioner Therapeutic Music Training at The Music for Healing and Transition School. I received a partial Scholarship while working with Adult Healing Arts at ORMC Orlando, Fl. as a "Healing Arts facilitator" I was flown to Philadelphia, Pa. in April 2007 to attend an Arts in Medicine Conference. I attended workshops/lectures on sound healing and other topics for facilitating patients.
Performing Experience:
Over 20 years of playing flute, Concert C flute, Native American Flute, Q-Chord, hand drums and Alto flute in Central Florida Assisted Living Facilities, hospitals and some schools.
Experience Teaching:
Teaching, facilitating youth with music, drumming for wellness La, Amistad Treatment Center, South Seminole Behavioral Hospital, Grants from VSAof Florida to work with hospitalized youth - adults in health care facilities, as well as Special Needs youth in Orange County Public Schools.
