Hello! My name is Kevin and I have had plenty of experience being surrounded by music since middle school. I have composed and performed music for 11 years. I have taught musicians formally and informally since high school with drumming (including marching), percussion, piano, guitar, music theory, composition, and audio production (sound synthesis, tracking, and sampling).

Formal Education:
I took part in band all throughout middle school and high school, performing on the drum set, saxophone, bassoon, piano, guitar, mallet percussion, marching percussion, and auxiliary percussion. I took the AP music theory course in high school and got a 5/5.
Private Education:
I am an autodidact and have taught myself how to read music, sight read sheet music, music theory, sheet music software (Finale), digital audio workstation (Ableton, FL Studios), acoustics, and signal processing. I am a senior mathematics major at UCF.
Performing Experience:
I performed concerts on a weekly basis for 7 years from middle school to high school. I have performed in marching band, jazz band, concert band, percussion ensemble, and jazz trio. In college, I joined a pop/punk band Shout London as a keyboardist and then transferred to a drummer when the previous drummer quit. We performed at many venues in downtown Orlando and also performed at Warped Tour 2013 in Orlando on the Ernie Ball Stage.
Experience Teaching:
My experience teaching started from teaching lower level classmates in music. I showed them all the knowledge and materials needed to be an advanced musician in percussion and on the drum set. I have also taught piano and guitar on the side to children and young adults.
