About Me

My Name is Ryan. I started playing guitar when I was five years old, and the moment I picked up that guitar, I knew I was hooked for life. My father taught me all the basics and I pretty much took it up myself after that. I started my first band about five years ago, and the funny thing about this band is I played drum, something I have never done before. My thought on learning an instrument is: If you have that desire to learn how do it, you're gonna be great, just as long as you put in the time. So my first band was called "Chin-Javitis." a bit of a comedy act. then we split up and I started my own project called "Green Fields" and I am happy to announce that we are still together. I really don't see myself doing anything but music. I used to have my own guitar class in High School, where I would go to the middle school and teach a group of 5-9 students how to play Guitar, Bass, & Drums. I think the best way to teach someone is to let them decide what they want to learn, but first BASICS BASICS BASICS! the most important thing for any instrument.

Formal Education:

I took classical guitar training for two years in Wickenburg Arizona and played Spanish guitar in band at my Middle School.

Private Education:

My father taught me the basics and a few songs, but I taught myself ALOT.

Performing Experience:

This is what I'm good at, Putting on a Live show! I Worked with alot of bands over the past four years. The Main One Being "Green Fields." But I have also worked with ICy CoRE Of JUpier, Feather Toung, Caviar & Ciggerrets, Sun Verse Moon, The Letters, The Hidden Space Bandits From Outter Space, Chin-Javitis, Brain Matter, Albino Set Go!, Sam Bobosky, Nafarious Tendencies, Deadly Night Shades, Clutch, The Kenneth David Woods Project, Fox Trott, & ReddFoxx. I have played almost all the venues In Phoenix Area, The Biggest one we did Was "The Marqee."

Experience Teaching:

I use to Be a Karate Instructor with my brother when he was running a Dojo. I taught all ages Todlers Seniors you name it! Also Started a Program at My High School where you go to Middle Schools and teach 6th graders to play instruments.
