I am retired after working 35 years of US Civil Service. Upon retirement, I spent the following months caring for my father, then later accepted a position at a Home Health Care Agency where I am currently working part-time.
I started playing the piano at the age of 7, continuing lessons throughout my high school and college years. During high school I played flute, became Drum Majorette and was awarded the John Philip Sousa Award for excellence in performance. My hobbies, besides music, include reading, sewing, biking, hiking, and camping.
Kathryn D- has over 45+ years of music experience in the Cedar Hill area.

2 year Associates in Arts Degree at Trident Technical College, Charleston, SC
Private Education:
Approx. 18 years of Private lessons in Classical Piano.
Performing Experience:
45 years of playing for church services, weddings, funerals, Masonic Lodges, and various parties/events. I was a keyboard player in church bands for the last 25 years.
Experience Teaching:
My teaching experience began as a student teacher at my instructor's studio, and have continued teaching children and adults intermittently throughout the past 45 years, and on a regular basis since my retirement.
