I grew up in the beautiful city of Colorado Springs, where I picked up my first instruments in Elementary school, taking organ/piano lessons from my next-door neighbor. Luckily, my parents supported me all the way with my early passion for music and financed not only my lessons but all of my first instruments! In middle school, I started playing oboe and learned the joy of playing in a large ensembles. This was back when walkman CD players were still a thing, leading me to accumulate dozens and dozens of CDs in just a few years; they were the most valuable possessions I owned. Everything from Tool, Panic! at the Disco, System of a Down, and NIN to The Jurassic Park, Star Wars, and the Ocarina of Time soundtracks. High school is what helped me to solidify my desire to pursue my passion for music as a career, being given my first electric bass for Christmas. In 2009, I moved to Denver to study music at the University of Denver. Outside of playing music, I spend a lot of free time supporting live music, seeing orchestral concerts, rock shows and When I'm not working on music, I'm most frequently absorbed in reading (both non-fiction and fiction), staying physically active (through yoga, hiking and standard gym time) and pursuing a diverse spectrum of spiritual and philosophical studies/disciplines.

Very glad to have gone with Taylor Robinson!
Very glad I used Taylor Robinson Music to start taking guitar lessons. Wide variety of choices for instructors, and I am very happy with my instructor Alice! It is also nice to not have to the option for house vs studio for appointments. Cost is very fair/reasonable. Karly Jenkins wrote on Tue, 05 Nov 2024
