Learn basic chords, scales, and music theory as applicable to songs and repertoire. Learn improvisation. Advanced techniques such as sweeping, tapping, etc.

If you want to know how to really play guitar, Ursin is your man.
Ursin will teach you what it takes to become a skilled guitarist. He is knowledgeable about the guitar as a solo instrument and about the guitar in a band setting, as well as music as a whole. Ursin does a fine job explaining, demonstrating, and teaching technical ability and music theory in addition to a real-world application of theory and techniques. He is down-to-earth in his teaching style and will teach you whatever you want to know, be it Jazz, Blues, Metal, or anything in between. He is someone who truly loves playing and teaching guitar, and will take care to make sure everything you want to understand is understood, and can break down seemingly complex techniques and theory to it's essential building blocks, making his teaching method effective, simple, and understandable. Ursin
Ursin is extremely skilled not only as a guitarist but as a teacher. He has a remarkable way of explaining a concept to any student, no matter their level of comprehension. He also makes sure to work on things that the student wants to learn. He can easily get a firm grasp on a song or style that the student wants to learn to play and convey that knowledge to the student. Aside from his abilities, Ursin is an extremely reliable teacher and hardly ever has to cancel a lesson with a student.
