I think music should be fun and immediately enjoyable. Everybody wants to make music! Traditional piano lessons are fine if you want to play recitals and complex piano music, but most people just want to have some fun messing around with music they like or creating their own. I will teach you how to do exactly that. Whether you want to learn how to read chord charts or play with a band/singer or you want to get creative and learn how to make completely original compositions I can give you the tools you need to get started right away!
My name is Ryan. I'm 34 and have been playing keyboard since I was 9. I have been in several gigging bands and have composed music as a serious hobby since my early adulthood. I live with my wife and son in North Dayton. I am self taught and that means two things. 1. I will not be giving traditional lessons, so you probably won't learn how to sight read music notation or play with perfect fingering . 2. I have a unique perspective on music because I started out writing creatively and learned the aspects of music theory in a non-conventional order starting with constructing basic melodies and harmonies.
