Mckinley D

Mckinley is a musician from Myrtle Beach, SC. At 25 years old he has played roughly 1000 gigs including steady church gigs, local bar gigs, school functions (both high school and college), and opening up for major touring acts. In his fourteen years of musicianship, his experience includes playing electric guitar, bass guitar, upright bass, and singing in rock, reggae, jam, funk, contemporary christian, and jazz styles. Additionally, he has experience as a band director, recording and mixing engineer, live sound engineer, producer, and songwriter.
Mckinley has a bachelor’s degree in musical performance at Coastal Carolina University. This is his second degree with his first being an associates in electrical engineering from Horry Georgetown Technical College. While attending college, Mckinley directed the contemporary worship band at his church while also directing his own band that performed on a weekly basis around the Carolinas and Georgia. His duties at his church included consistently pushing the band to a tighter, more exciting performance with a crisp clear sound. He had the same duties with his band along with booking, songwriting, managing, recording, and running the sound system. With this experience and education, Mckinley is pursuing a career to play with established touring bands to help excel their music as far as it can go.
Along with his versatility, Mckinley thrives in collaborative environments. He is eager to help a great production be greater and to push the boundaries of music and sound.
