My name is Justin and I am applying as a Drum and Percussion Instructor at Taylor Robinson Music and Voice Lessons. My background includes Drum set, and Percussion performance for over 10 years which has allowed me immense diversity throughout all the percussive arts. I have also been a freelance musician for contractors around the North Florida and South Georgia region for over 4 years, including Drum set, Percussion and Timpani. This has graced me the versatility to perform in local venues as a Jazz and Rock drum set player, in addition to performing in Jacobi Symphony Hall as a Classical Percussionist. My affinity for teaching music began when volunteering at LaVilla School of the Arts as a percussion Instructor for after school percussion ensemble rehearsals. I have since been a private instructor for any LaVilla School of the Arts musician seeking to pursue Drum set or Percussion. I am outgoing, patient, and respectful with all students, because it is an amazing experience to witness a musician develop. I am very loyal, and dedicated to the success of all of my students. Ever since, teaching has been the most fulfilling part of being a musician that I've experienced.
