I began taking guitar lessons at age five and continued throughout my teens, began teaching at 16 and have taught on and off ever since. I've played guitar professionally for several national acts in all styles from rock, country, jazz, blues, etc... Performed over 3,000 shows in the last 20 years, spending seven as bandleader/lead guitarist for Texas Country/Sony recording artist Wade Bowen. While with Wade we charted a national top forty single, had videos on all country music channels, released seven number one singles in a row on Texas radio, played the Grand Ole Opry on multiple occasions, and played amphitheaters, theaters, rodeos, large venues all over the country including performing halftime on the fifty yard line at a Houston Texans season opener. Prior to that I worked for a Polygram signed swing band "Jive Deluxe" playing casino showrooms in Las Vegas six nights a week with a full 12 piece big band. Before that an east coast jam band "The Mike Corrado Band" where we toured the country in a van doing over 250 shows a year in clubs, at colleges, etc... and before that played lead guitar for Step one recording artist Don Cox, who charted a top 40 country single, playing medium size venues, showcases, clubs. Currently working on my jazz standards project. I can be seen playing around Austin most nights of the week.
