Joe was born in New Jersey in 1952, and later raised in South Plainfield, NJ. His father purchased his first guitar at the age of 11, and from then on he developed a strong passion for music. The first thing his father taught him on the guitar was the "Boogie Woogie Shuffle". Joe influenced the neighborhood kids and teenagers to study, play daily, and eventually formed a band which won the Battle of the Bands with original music. Joe a blues mixed guitarist specializing in structured learning of the acoustic/electric guitar. He has been playing and teaching throughout the USA for over 40 years. He has had students in many different cities including New Orleans, La. He specializes in all different types of musical genres and has a unique way of teaching and mentoring fundamentals of basic guitar. Joe's students learn chord and lead theory, rhythm, how to read and write music, and how to bring originality to their own music of choice. Joe has extraordinary leadership and planning skills, showing his students how to practice and prepare them to take their skills to the next level. He has a fun, outgoing personality and loves to work with all different ages and skill sets ranging from beginner to advanced. Joe has experience teaching at Abney's Music, TMC Music School, private and group lessons, beginner bands, and participating in recitals. He has also played for St. John Vianney Church in Orlando, Fl. Joe has had the opportunity to work with many celebrity artist, including George Benson and Harry Lahey in NJ. He has also worked with Vincent Bredice (Author of Mel Bay Productions, Guitar Improvising)in Miami, Fl. Joe loves to perform and played with artists all around Central Florida, and Seminole, Largo, Tampa, VFW 138, Clearwater, Florida and at some of the top places in Orlando including the famous Alley Blues Club, Muldoons, Ozone, Shovelhead Lounge, Jolly Gator fish camp in Geneva, and The Parlor Project. He brings to the table his traveling years of learning different playing skills, reading, and structured learning mostly, that includes fun and engaging practicing techniques. Retired, teaching, mentoring, counseling. Groups of two and up. Extra introduction with student's to review their skills of their choice. A 10-15 minute phone conversation will help to understand each other. Reference if needed. I teach multible area's, and can do groups of two or more together.

What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
All the notes on the guitar mentaley and playing them and having fun. Diatonic Chords, Cowboy Chords, knowing different structures of playing them. Practicing methods. The more the better. Ex: 4-5hrs a day is better then one hour a day for the first three weeks.Extra help with lessons.
What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Guitar Structure. Introduction to all music. Find your passion and have fun doing it. Right/Left hand techniques to build up strength, muscles. Learn to Jam on songs.

11Years on up. Begginers, Intemediate, Semi-Advanced Blues, Rock, Funk, Country, Boogie-woogie,etc. Introduction of theory threw advanced. Some Jazz caged system, easy finger and rhythm exercises.
