My name is Taylor. I'm a 21 year old musician moving to Greeley from Augusta, GA. I play guitar and mandolin primarily, and also have experience playing bass, banjo, tenor guitar, and bouzouki.
Taylor S has over 3 years of music experience in the Greeley area.
Taylor S is proficient in and teaches Guitar Lessons, Bass Guitar Lessons, Keyboard and Piano Lessons .Formal Education:
I attended a private school from K-12 named Augusta Preparatory Day School, and graduated in 2013. I began attending George Regents University that fall, but dropped out during my third semester to allow myself more freedom to tour. While in college, I did a study abroad in Ireland studying the traditional music of Ireland and the use of mandolin in Irish music.
Private Education:
I studied guitar and mandolin for several years with a music teacher in Augusta, GA, with a focus on rock guitar and bluegrass playing.
Performing Experience:
I have been performing for a living since I graduated high school in 2013, generally playing three nights a week while not touring. I have toured fairly heavily, played in 14 states, mostly up the East Coast. I have played everything from bluegrass festivals and pride parades to intimate venues in New York City. I have played in a variety of bands, including my most recent position, playing electric guitar in a southern rock/country band known as the Kenny George Band, with a heavy emphasis of playing slide guitar. I have played mandolin in two heavily touring, fairly traditional bluegrass bands out of Augusta and Asheville, NC, Crying Wolf and Clyde's on Fire, respectively. I play banjo in a new grass band known as Delta Cane. I played guitar and banjo in a indie rock band known as She N She. I backed a singer-songwriter named Celia Gary, playing bass. I also fronted a jam band known as Taylor & the Swans, and played guitar with a pop-centric cover band. A recording of my guitar playing was used on the last Backstreet Boys tour, for their opener to sing to.
Experience Teaching:
I have taught guitar students, but not with a company. I have taught children, teens, and an adult. In Augusta I was able to get students whom I taught out of my house there via word of mouth . Also, as a senior in high school in 2012-2013, I was granted permission to teach a beginner guitar class for middle schoolers in lieu of a traditional elective.

Recommendation for Taylor
I have known Taylor for approximately seven years. I have watched him grow and develop as a musician and as a person. He is a very talented musician and is proficient on guitar, bass, mandolin and banjo. In addition to being an outstanding player, he also has a good command of music theory and he can read tablature as fast as most classically trained musicians can read sheet music! He is a smart, friendly, reliable and kind person who, in my opinion as a guitar instructor, has the perfect temperament to teach others. Taylor's genuine love of music and performing is infectious and he would quickly become a popular teacher. I highly recommend him. Scott Terry wrote on Thu, 24 Mar 2016
Review for Taylor
I have known for 2 years now. Since we met, I have participated in three different bands that he had lead. One being a bluegrass band, one being an alternative country band, and one being a jam band. He has incredible leadership skills when it comes to heading a band. He has also taught me a few techniques and theories that have helped me as a player. He has an extensive knowledge of music theory that is great for teaching students. I highly recommend him as a teacher. His love for music and passion for pursuing music as a full time career makes him a great candidate for teaching music for your company. Matt Northrup wrote on Thu, 24 Mar 2016
