Started playing when I was ten years old and was influenced early on by the heavy hitters of trash metal, then I started to study Jazz music and became obsessed with Buddy Rich. spent most of my teen years in original bands and in the recording studio. As an adult I played in many supporting acts opening for for names like Sevendust, Pop Evil and Head P.E., have touring experience and played on the drum line at WMU, I was a recording engineer for a small studio in SW Michigan then I moved to Florida to play in an extreme metal group locally and eventually had to move on to bigger and better things. I currently am a session musician and like working with young acts in a producer role.
Shaun H. has over 28 years of music experience in the Apopka area.
Shaun H. is proficient in and teaches Drum Lessons .Formal Education:
Studied at Western Michigan University and the School of Hard Knocks of Rock and Roll.
Private Education:
Various instructors from all over the state of Michigan.
Performing Experience:
I played with headliners at festivals and toured with an experimental Metal band out of Michigan. I played everything from small bars to stadiums, theaters and everything in between.
Experience Teaching:
Have had about a dozen students over the years and I am finally to the point of where I can take on many more.
