I am Emily, a current student at Saint Xavier University. I am a first year undergraduate studying to achieve a Music Education Bachelors Degree. I have been involved in the arts my entire life, including choir/chorale, private voice lessons, musical theater, opera, show choir, music theory and composition. I hold a strong belief that music is truly one of the best outlets for all persons to display their true emotions and passions.

Performing Experience:
I began performance at the age of 13 in large ensembles. By age 17, solo and small ensemble performances have be come the "norm". I currently perform many solo pieces within the University and take art of our large ensemble Chorale.
Experience Teaching:
I have began teaching on a volunteer basis sense age 16. Of these are the Finley Jr. High School Choir, Private Lessons-Voice within Harold L. Richards High School, and Music Theory/Technique-all instruments.

Review for Ms. Emily B
I had the privilege to be a teacher of Emily for 4 years in our NJROTC leadership development program. Emily developed into one of our best leaders and was very helpful as a cadet trainer for 1st year cadets in such things as basic marching skills, uniform wear and presentation at inspection and understanding and applying professional knowledge. She was also very helpful as a person of trust that other students could go to for advice or simply to get some renewed perspective. Emily has a delightful singing voice and participated in a number of performance opportunities at our annual District Military Ball. Although I cannot comment on her ability to instruct as a vocal instructor, I can tell you that she displayed excellent patience and appropriate candor when working with cadets in our program.
