She won a scholarship for voice at the Cleveland Music School Settlement, and there, her first voice teacher stated that her voice was "a stupendous instrument." She also studied privately with the voice chairman at Oberlin Conservatory, and he called her voice "a truly fine instrument." As well, she studied voice privately with a principal singer of the Cleveland Opera and voice chairman of the Baldwin Wallace Conservatory; he stated that her voice is "a beautiful instrument." After her audition at Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall, he stated this to her: "Obviously, you are very talented." Also, Pamela has a proven track record of promoting student success. She has taught private cello, string classes, and string orchestras in public and private institutions in Virginia, Ohio, and Maryland. In regional ensemble festivals, her students either earned Superior (I) or Excellent (II) in all ensemble events with high commendations from the adjudicators each year. In Baltimore Maryland, at the Baltimore International Academy, she was music teacher for two and one half years of four years there. The first half of the year, she taught Kindergarten French Immersion. Under her tutelage as music teacher, 10 of her students were accepted into the Peabody Conservatory Children's Chorus, three among them earning full scholarships.
