My name is Ian and I have been playing drums for about 13 years starting from around age 12 or 13. I started out learning a bunch of classic rock tunes because that's what was mostly on around my family and it's also what my father played for most of his life, so it was a fun starting point for me. I was hooked until I found a drummer named Mike Portnoy and Dream Theater. Learning their songs really helped unlock doors to my playing. I tend to prefer heavier music but I have the ability to adapt to just about anything I'm listening to.

I am a recent graduate of the Atlanta Institute of Music and Media with an associates degree in music and technology with my focus of course on drums
Performing Experience:
In my time playing I have been in a few different bands and only played a couple of handfuls of shows, but in the time I have been on stage I have been comfortable and at home. Every performance I have had has been a blast and a success. I am currently the drummer of a new progressive metal band by the name of Winter Is Coming.
Experience Teaching:
Thus far, I have no experience giving lessons, but I am very eager to learn how to teach, because this gift is the most fun part of my life and it would bring me pride to help others develope a life-long skill and hobby.
