I have self managed a music career for 10 years, and I have acquired a wealth of knowledge that I intend to share with hopeful musicians young and old! I have been studying theory and playing guitar for the last 15 years, while also perfecting my vocal techniques. I have taught guitar lessons independently and have created a structured program in the process that can be tweaked for each individual student's goals. I am now stepping back from live performances so that I can focus my efforts on a career in teaching music. I have open availability, reliable transportation, and a great attitude.

2 Completed Semesters of Music Theory at Mira Costa College. One semester from completing an Associate's Degree in Business.
Private Education:
Self-taught musical notation, chord and scale structuring, rhythm, dynamics, and all other aspects of musical theory over the last 10 years.
Performing Experience:
10 years performing (bands/solo) and 7 years self-managing my successful Rock 'N Roll band, Oddball. The experience taught me the ins and outs of the music industry (touring, recording, marketing, branding, songwriting, ect.) and really helped to develop my skills. I have performed at the House of Blues, the Roxy Theatre, Qualcomm Stadium, and so many other venues, as well as played the Ernie Ball Warped Tour.
Experience Teaching:
I have taught guitar lessons consistently to three different individuals (ages 25, 16, and 14) that had no prior experience with the instrument. All three can now play songs, but also understand the concepts so that they can continue to learn and link these concepts together.
