Started learning guitar and singing at 13 years old while staying in Moscou because of his parents work and started studying Classical Guitar formally when was 19 years old. He made the elemental and middle level in a flash time, so quick and good, that in a year, won the First Price in a Middle-level competition, playing all the demanding obligatory pieces. So in few years, he competed again in order to obtain a single position at the University of Arts in La Habana, Cuba. He graduates with Honors receiving an applause of almost a minute. Rogeliostudied under the supervision of Master Martin Pedreira, author of The book, "Ergonomia de la Guitarra", which is perhaps the deepest statement about Classical Guitar's technique. Also, his compositions have been interpreted for notables Cuban singers as Leo Vera and Mayra Caridad Valdes as well as was part of the Cuban Guitars Orquestra "Sonantas Habaneras", under the conduction of Dr. Jesus Ortega. Was the vocal bass to the Vocal Group "Novel Voz" from 2007 to 2016 performing in scenarios of Canada, Spain, and France.
