I started playing music in the Bay area, and was fortunate enough to play with enormous talent (Larry James, Mark McGee (Greg Alman's guitar player), Ricardo Scales, Raul Casada, Randy Hansen, Paul Pesco (J. Lo's musical director & guitar songwriter - Hall & Oates), Mike Braun (drummer Hall & Oates), Joel Taylor (drummer - Allan Holdsworth, Yanni), Joe Vitale (Alabama), etc. She was also lucky enough to hang out with the famous trumpet player Sal Marquez (Woody Herman, Buddy Rich, Frank Zappa, Jay Leno show) in LA. I've also played with Goldy McJohn (Steppenwolf's keyboardist opening for Foghat, and I played a NAMM showcase. I've probably played 3,000 gigs.

I have taught for 25 years now: piano, violin, bass, guitar, and voice lessons.
I have two recitals a year for students who want to perform for their families and in front of people
I have also taught group keyboard classes as part of after school programs.
I am a professional musician who gigs weekly playing bass, singing, guitar, and playing the piano. Laurie has 5 CDs published with eight of the songs on her latest CD placing in four different songwriting contest including the Billboard songwriting contest. Her music has also licensed for professional use in advertising videos. Her solo piano CD was nominated for CD of the year in 2008

inquiring about lessons
Hello, My name is Ashley, I am 31 years young! I recently moved here from PA, and bought a guitar and I am looking for beginner lessons. I do work full time 3 days a week, and my schedule does change throughout the week. So looking for an instructor that can work with me on that schedule. I was reading your bio, and saw you also do voice lessons. I was hoping we could maybe do a full hour once a week, 30 min guitar and 30 min vocal. If you have the availability!
